On 15th February 1998, Shanghai Xinlai Industry and Trade Co., Ltd was founded at No. 849 Hongjing Road, Shanghai. To be a family business, in the early days of our founding, we squeezed into a small workshop, starting by processing bedding for other brands. Gradually, we became familiar with and learned about textile fabrics and their characteristics.
Later, we developed our brand, “Xinlai,” and gradually began supplying textile products to some hotels. We also started selling our brand bedding in malls and supermarkets across East China, Northeast China, and other regions.

Starting in 1999, we were fortunate to establish partnerships with several Japanese companies, officially launching our products in the East Asian market. During this period, the founder of Amedel, Sherrill, continuously learned from our clients’ meticulousness and rigorous work ethic, gradually shaping our own corporate culture.
Over the years, we have learned and explored through our work, starting from the needs of our clients, seeking a balance in manufacturing and design, and constantly enriching our product range while improving our quality and service. In 2016, we updated our brand logo and began directly supplying our products to numerous five-star hotels in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The same year, THE SHERRILL CO., LIMITED, was established in Hong Kong. Building on our original product range for hotels, we partnered with several selected gift and craft manufacturers to develop various guest room gifts and custom-made crafts for our esteemed guests. Since then, we have been committed to providing hotels with comprehensive, one-stop services.
Today, we are excited to announce our expansion into Canada, where we have established a new company. With this step, we aim to introduce our high-quality products and comprehensive services to the North American market.
